Bruiser Savings Club FAQs

Here are the most popular Brusier Savings Club questions answered!

What is The Bruiser Savings Club?
A membership to Bumps N’ Bruises Pediatric Urgent Care that offers member discounts and a flat-rate fee per visit, no matter the procedures done or test ran!

What is the flat-rate fee and what exactly does that mean?
$75 and that covers ANY test or procedures performed during your child’s visit. (Yes! This includes our pediatric x-ray, if needed).

How do I become a member?
You are able to sign-up upon check-in at Bumps N’ Bruises, or online at, and commit to a membership fee of $18 per household (Not per child!) a month.

Is the Bruisers Savings Club Insurance?
No, it is not and does not meet the minimum essential coverage requirement of the Affordable Care Act. However, you can pay both your monthly dues and any office visit with your HAS card.

Why would I need the membership if we have insurance, isn’t that what the co-pay is for?
Not necessarily. The $75 flat-rate fee covers EVERYTHING performed in office during your child’s visit. Each insurance bills differently and may still result in charges additional to the co-pay, especially if your yearly deductible has not been met.

An average annual deductible for a family of four is upwards of $12,500! That is about 500 doctor visits a year, or 125 visits per family member. Do you go to the doctor that often?! We hope not!
